Other Tools and ResourcesThe FMCR resource contains a few other resources and tools to which the user may wish to refer. All of these can be found at the Family Medicine Clerkship page at http://fammed.musc.edu/fmc/data/ GLOSSARYIn building the FMCR Project Resource, our Curriculum Consultant developed a glossary of terms. Originally it was anticipated that this glossary would only be used in development of the resource. But, in the process of obtaining external reviews on the resources, we learned that reviewers saw value in that as a tool for curriculum developers on developing goals and objectives. This tool can be accessed at: http://fammed.musc.edu/fmc/FMCRglossary.htm GENERAL RESOURCESA number of resources (which are not contained elsewhere in the FMCR Project resource) were identified throughout the process of FMCR Project resource development. Many of these have been gathered and catalogued. A list of these can be accessed at: http://fammed.musc.edu/fmc/data/GeneralResources.htm The user may wish to peruse through this to make sure they understand what is contained within this list. It contains the "How to use the family medicine clerkship resources" slide show discussed earlier in this guide, an annotated list of textbooks for clerkship directors, including on-line textbooks, and references in some areas such as Communication and Community health. FUTURE OF FAMILY MEDICINE PROJECT REPORT LINKAt the Family Medicine Clerkship page, one can access the Future of Family Medicine Project report which has informed much of the work related to FMCR resource development around the family medicine clerkship. |
